Meet The Team!
ANGELA
Licensed Massage Therapist
Certified Health Educator
Lyrabat
Lead therapist Angela, has been with us since Summer of 2019 when she moved to Sonoma County, from the East Bay. Growing up with lots of brothers and uncles she was always outside and physically active. In high school she wrestled and threw shot put & discus, was active in Venturing (co-ed high adventure Boy Scouts) and played music in the jazz band, concert band, marching band and orchestra on various instruments. She also grew up assisting her uncles on small construction jobs and particularly loved demolition.
She graduated massage school in 2005 and started working full time as a massage therapist in 2015 at a sports chiropractic clinic near multiple fighting and Spartan gyms. Angela takes the extra time to get to know her clients and patients so she can carefully design individualized massage plans to work on areas of complaint as well as finding other areas that they may not have noticed needed attention. She continues to hone and perfect her skills and is able to work on a variety of bodies, conditions and injuries including young athletes, weekend warriors, construction workers, MMA/BJJ/Muay Thai fighters, CrossFit, drivers, office workers, those with Parkinson's and fibromyalgia, pregnant and aging bodies and beyond. Angela has recently trained in sound healing and will sometimes use it to help facilitate relaxation of body and mind at the end of her sessions.
Outside of work she loves to try out new food places, going to shows/concerts, exploring nature, going hiking and camping, yoga, participating in renaissance fairs, aerial sports and singing karaoke throughout Sonoma County.

Gardener
The rolling hills of the Kenwood valley is where my family built our home,
cultivated perennial and vegetable gardens as well as a small orchard, and
where I was lucky enough to call my childhood home, though I didn’t truly
appreciate it until I’d moved away. School was never my strong suit; I found
working with my hands to provide the greatest satisfaction, and as my older
brother went through his massage schooling, he taught me techniques and
tips to relaxing and releasing tension and I gained interest and enthusiasm
as my experience grew. I went to the Sebastopol Massage center in 2013, a
year after graduating high school, and graduated in 2014 as a practitioner,
but due to new legislation had to upgrade my certification, and so went
through the National Holistic Institute’s core 800 hour program and
graduated in January 2023 as a therapist. I hope to slowly keep expanding
my knowledge and experience, and take courses in the future to broaden the modalities I can practice or specialize in. I currently live in downtown Santa Rosa with my amazing girlfriend, and spend the days gardening and taking day trips to go hiking whenever possible. I’m a homebody, but love to be in the sun!
I love to garden- to take a small sprout or seedling, and watch it grow into a
beautiful, vibrant plant! Initially it was a chore and burden, but as I got older
and spent more time caring for than just clearing/maintaining the gardens, I
came to appreciate the value of caring for plants. The patience it requires,
continuing education and desire to help something grow has led me to be a
more appreciative human, and the peace of mind in the activity keeps me
wonderfully grounded. I’m still learning, and have yet to get a compost bin,
but have established a prolific herb and vegetable garden, and this past
year put ~200 bulbs and wildflowers around the backyard to bring some
flowers and color into our lives. Roses are the next phase!
Modalities: Swedish, Shiatsu, Deep Tissue, SportsMassage, Reflexology, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, and Chair Massage.
